Cole Daufeldt has earned recognition as a Star Over Iowa FFA Finalist, one of the highest honors awarded to members of the Iowa FFA Association. This distinction highlights his dedication, work ethic, and commitment to agricultural excellence through his Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs.
Daufeldt’s experiences are rooted both on and off the farm. He is actively employed at the West Liberty Golf Course, where he has developed strong skills in turf management, equipment operation, and customer service. His work there has helped him gain valuable insight into the importance of maintaining high-quality landscapes and the role agriculture plays beyond traditional production.
In addition to his off-farm work, Daufeldt plays a key role in his family’s turkey operation, BKBE Farms. Through this enterprise, he has gained hands-on experience in livestock care, facility management, and daily operational responsibilities. His involvement demonstrates a deep understanding of animal agriculture and the commitment required to maintain a successful farming operation.
By balancing multiple agricultural experiences, Daufeldt exemplifies the qualities of a Star Finalist. His dedication to growth, leadership, and agricultural innovation has set him apart, making him a strong representative of both his chapter and the future of Iowa agriculture.
