  • 35 community members assisted with donations, chaperoning, and fundraising

Booster Club Scholarship Drive

  • Raised $2,500 from community organizations

Beef and Goat Cooperative

  • 4 alumni members provided goats and calves for 21 members to exhibit at the county fair

100 Women Who Care

  • $6,600 was donated to our chapter to fund FFA opportunities for low-income students

  • 15 members conducted water quality tests to monitor water quality

8th Grade Career Development Events

FFA Parent-Member Orientation Night

  • 100% of 8th grade families learned about agricultural education and heard from a state officer

Chapter Officer Meet and Greet

  • Our chapter Officers met with 27 8th grade members for an ice cream social

Standard Operating Procedure

  • 100% of members participated in safety workshops for the shop and greenhouse

Animal Handling

  • 38 members with livestock participated in a workshop about safe handling

Meet a Farmer

  • 23 members taught Pre-K students about livestock and equipment safety

West Liberty Police Department Self-Defense Class

  • 29 members participated in a six hour self-defense course

Marketing the Brand

  • School District Digital sign board and 3 social media outlets were used

  • Submitted 22 articles to the West Liberty Index as well as our program of activities

Chapter Website

  • Brittney Harned invested over 60 hours to create or new chapter website

West Liberty Chamber of Commerce

  • Included FFA fundraisers in 6 monthly newsletters

Legislative Symposium

  • 8 chapter officers attended the state capitol to meet with 2 legislators

Ag Issues and Perceptions Team

  • 7 members conducted 15 public forums to over 350 community members

Agricultural Literacy

Kids Day at the Muscatine County Fair

  • 57 members conducted activities for 138 children at the Muscatine County Fair

A Day in the Ag Room

  • 28 members conducted hands-on workshops with over 100 ELC students

Junior Agriculture Leaders Program

  • 15 members taught 3rd grader student 5 lessons on agriculture

Iowa State Fair Little Hands on the Farm

  • 25 members attended the Iowa State Fair and helped with the interactive farm scene

Alpaca Management Demonstration

  • 1 local farmer presented about Alpaca care to over 150 students
